Media and Politics HW #7

I have not been really following the current election, from what I do know I think that Obama personally is the best candidate. I think he is the best out there for the job. I know the most about what he is trying to do. The only reason I have been able to follow him is due to media. I think that media now has a huge part it shows what is going on first hand. Politics have never really been my thing but with the media out there it helps understand a little better. I do think that with media it has broadened my horizon about politics and will continue to do so.

Advertising HW # 6

Advertising has affected me on so many different levels. Everywhere I look there is something new out there on the t.v., on the radio, and in magazines. I see something or hear something and want to buy it. The last time advertising influenced my buying habits was the ad for crest white stripes, I saw the a.d. so many times it made me want to go out and buy them.

It makes you want whiten your teeth because it is so easy and fast.

This ad is not as effective as the whiting ad, it has to much writing it does not just take the product and get right to the point. It goes into great detail when it is not needed.It is all one font and size and there is nothing that really pops.
